Oooh! By six months, you should be fine!
For a 6 month old it will be fine, but for under 6 months you need a pushchair that reclines flat.
I use a Zapp stroller for my baby and he is 4 months old. He is a little small for it still but LOVES it so I just keep an eye on him. By 6 months he will have enough head control that you shouldn’t need to worry. My friends only use an umbrella stroller and their little girl has been falling asleep in that thing for months!
When you get a sling make sure you get one that will cover his head from the wind. I had two different slings this winter. I loved my Heart 2 Heart sling the best because I could pull the cloth over his head in the wind. Try and get a heavy material so that it will be warmer.
